Last month I was pleased to be asked to talk at the Brighton PechaKucha 20x20. For those who don't know "PechaKucha Night, now in over 1,000 cities, was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public." 20x20 is the format for the talks. Each of the presenters is allowed to show twenty slides and they talk for twenty seconds about each slide.
I decided to talk about the design process behind our Old MacDonald wallpaper and my use of sun printing. I spent a day writing and rehearsing my talk and I felt quite relaxed about it until I got to the venue and discovered that I'd forgotten my notes! Luckily my rehearsing paid off and it flowed a lot better without my notes. If you'd like to watch it you can find it here.
